Vaccine Update

March 20, 2021

Dear Residents,

I hope you and your loved ones are feeling positive, safe and healthy. I have my regular monthly newsletter coming soon, but I thought I would send a brief update on the status of vaccines federally and in Ottawa.

As more information becomes available, I will make sure to keep you informed.

Update on Vaccine Authorization and Procurement

As a government, we are working hard to ensure that safe and effective vaccines reach all Canadians who want one by the end of September. With the recent approval of two new vaccines (Janssen COVID19 and AstraZeneca) and an uptick in deliveries from Pfizer, our vaccine rollout has significantly ramped up.
